A Wolverhampton based model agency are hoping to put the midlands on the map with a Guinness world record attempt for the longest floating catwalk on the UK’s Largest river this Spring featuring 30 professional models.
The River Severn is considered to be the UK’s longest river at 220 miles long. It flows for 220 miles from its source in the Welsh Cambrian mountains before finally emptying into the sea in the Bristol Channel, It is the second highest tide anywhere in the world.
The event is to take place on Sunday 20th May 2018 in Stourport from 2pm till 4pm and will showcase designs from all over the UK from high street to couture fashion. After 28 weeks of waiting the agency finally got the approval from the Guinness Book of Records this week.
The event has gained support from five announced celebrities from the TV Show Britain & Ireland next top model such as Sophia Chawki, Georgia Mason-Mottram, Tasmin Hough, Martha Valerie and Eleanor Sippings who will all be in attendance along with other celebrity guests.
The backstage team also include Maria LeFeye Couture who is hand-making a collection to be unveiled at the show, The respected Bryanna Angel makeup artist as seen in VOGUE and Julian Fiddimore’s REVAIL who manage the most elite beauty queens in the UK.
The idea for the event stemmed from Dream Street’s last premier fashion show held at Blithbury Reindeer Lodge in September which seen X Factor’s Chloe Jasmine walk the runway along with other professional models for the first time at one of the largest reindeer lodges outside of Scandinavia.
