Legally Blonde the Musical is coming to The Regent Theatre and they are looking for a four-legged star this Sunday, 11th February 2018.
The producers of Legally Blonde the Musical are on the hunt for a four-legged star for when the show comes to The Regent Theatre from Tuesday 12 – Saturday 17 March.
Eastenders’ Rita Simons, West End star Lucie Jones and Coronation Street’s Bill Ward are the human stars of the show, but there are two other very important members of cast – a Chihuahua called Bruiser and a dog called Rufus. Bruiser is already cast, so we are holding auditions to find a Rufus!
Now an audition process can be daunting, so to make to make it a little easier and save you time, here is what we’re looking for:
Associate Director David Barrett said ‘Legally Blonde the Musical is a show all about stereotypes and not judging a book by its cover and the dogs are no different in this. So whereas ‘Bruiser’ is the cute, tiny, adorable one, with ‘Rufus’ we are looking for the total opposite. We are looking for a big, brutish dog that only a mother could love – preferably a Bulldog as in the film but we are certainly open to options.’
Auditions will be held at the Victoria Hall on Sunday 11 February between 12 and 3pm.
If you feel your dog matches the criteria and would like to apply for an audition, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and an application form. Please note you and your dog must be available to perform from Tuesday 12 – Saturday 17 March.
